Founder

Jayne M. Skoog is a psalmist, ministral, educator, and founder of TMOP – The Ministry of the Psalmist. She is called to restore the sound of true worship, where music is not performance, but ministry unto the Lord.

 

Formally trained in classical vocal performance at the Lamont School of Music and The Juilliard School, her artistry is grounded in excellence and discipline. Her calling, however, was shaped through spiritual formation under David Wilkerson, Gwendolin Sims Warren, and Iona E. Locke.

 

As both a ministral and psalmist, she carries a dual grace: to minister unto the Lord through sound, and to release a prophetic voice that establishes spiritual atmosphere. As reflected in Psalm 40:3, her life carries the “new song” placed by God—one that draws others into His presence.

 

Through TMOP, she is committed to equipping and releasing a generation of worshippers who carry both excellence and consecration, restoring the altar of worship in this generation.
